How much is a wedding cake?
I'm afraid that's an impossible question to answer!  Every cake is custom made so price will depend on size, complexity & decoration.  Please contact me with your basic requirements and I'll be happy to provide you with a no-obligation quote.

Do you deliver & set up at the venue?
Yes, I always personally deliver every cake to make sure it gets there safely, and setting up at your venue is included in the service.

How much is delivery?
Delivery & setting up of wedding cakes to CB, CO & CM postcodes is Free.  For all other cakes, or for wedding cakes to other areas, delivery is charged at 45p/mile, round trip from Sible Hedingham, Essex.

How much notice do you need for a cake order?
It's more a case of whether I'm still available for the date you need. Doing everything myself means I can only take a limited number of commissions, so my calendar often fills up several weeks - or even months - in advance. Therefore please book as early as you can to avoid disappointment. 

I can't see any children's character cakes / football club cakes in your gallery - do you do them?
Characters such as Thomas the Tank Engine, Peppa Pig etc. are protected by copyright and can't be reproduced in any format (including cakes) without permission. Unfortunately, such permission is prohibitively expensive to obtain, so I'm afraid it's not an option.  I can do you a train, or a pig, for example, just not Thomas or Peppa.
Football club logos are also protected by copyright so the same applies. I can do you a football themed cake, and include your team's colours, but not reproduce their logos or badges. 
Big retailers such as the supermarkets reproduce these designs under licence, obtained for a huge premium and often to the exclusion of others doing so. 
Besides, I specialise in unique cakes, so why not have something special and unusual instead?
