Yes - I always personally deliver every cake to make sure it gets there safely, and setting up at your venue is included in the service.

How much is delivery?

Delivery & setting up of wedding cakes to CB, CO & CM postcodes is FREE. 
For all other cakes, or for wedding cakes to other areas, delivery is charged at 45p/mile, round trip from Halstead, Essex.

I can't see any children's character cakes / football club cakes in your gallery - do you do them?

Characters such as Thomas the Tank Engine, Peppa Pig etc. are protected by copyright and can't be reproduced in any format (including cakes) without permission. Unfortunately, such permission is prohibitively expensive to obtain, so I'm afraid it's not an option.  I can do you a train, or a pig, for example, but I can't do Thomas or Peppa.

Football club logos are also protected by copyright and therefore the same applies as for the character cakes. I can certainly do you a football themed cake, and include your team's colours, but I can't reproduce their logos or badges (I did specifically ask a couple of the top football clubs for permission to do these, and was told a very categorical 'No'!)

Huge retailers such as the supermarkets reproduce all these under licence, obtained for a huge premium, and often to the exclusion of others doing so.  Any other reputable cake maker will also tell you that they can't do these, and those that do them risk being sued by the might of Disney / Manchester United / Hallmark or whoever. Unfortunately that's not a risk I'm prepared to take.

Besides, I specialise in unique cakes, so why not have something special and unusual instead?

I've seen a picture of someone else's cake that I like - can you recreate it for me?

If you're after an exact reproduction of another designer's cake, then please ask them to make it for you themselves. Just as I would not expect someone else to reproduce one of my cakes without permission, nor will I make an exact copy of someone else's. However, I can take inspiration from any other cakes that you like, or combine elements of different cakes to produce a cake that is uniquely mine - and yours.  All cakes pictured on this site are my own work.
