Jennifer Cakes was a nickname an old colleague gave me years ago, so it seemed perfect when I was looking for a name for my cake business.

Based near Halstead, Essex, I've been making & decorating bespoke celebration cakes since the mid-90s. It started off as a great way of giving unique gifts to friends & family, but everyone started saying my cakes were really good & why didn't I go into business? So I did some specialist courses to top up my skills & here I am.

It's a lot of work, and sometimes very long hours (you'd be surprised how many people don't realise the time that goes into creating each cake) but I love it. I'm a perfectionist, so you can be confident that I'll put as much care into creating your cake as you would. I guarantee you'll be delighted with the result!

My premises are registered with Braintree District Council's Environmental Health department, and I have full public liability insurance. I'm also a member of the British Sugarcraft Guild.
